The Embrace of an Old Friend
Wonder Voyage has returned to New Orleans for our tenth summer of leading teams to the Crescent City. The hospitality of the city still amazes. It’s like returning to the home of an old friend with a welcoming embrace.
Our team from Believer’s Fellowship in Moorehead, Minnesota arrived after driving “all the way across the country!” We hope that by the end of the week our Midwestern cohorts will consider this place their home away from home. Each day they will become more immersed in the culture, the people, and THE HEAT. What will the Lord do next? We wonder…
PS To those of you who have served with Wonder Voyage in New Orleans with Sr Liz: our staff was able to have a short visit with Sr Liz who happened to be back in the city for a retreat. We are happy to report that Liz is well and she sends her warm embraces to all the “wonder voyagers” out there.
