Via Crucis Retreat

A Roman soldier.  An anguished mother.  A death-row prisoner. An unsuspecting pilgrim.  A treacherous friend.  Jesus touches each of these and many others- seen and unseen- on His agony-filled way to the cross.  That same Jesus still seeks hearts as He draws us to pick up our cross and follow Him.  Combining sacred scripture, storytelling, personal reflection and challenging group and personal sessions, The Via Crucis retreat draws participants into a heartfelt and inspiring contemplation of Jesus' sacrifice and His triumphant victory over death.  Based off of The Via Crucis devotional, this retreat walks participants through the raw vivid stories voiced by those present at Christ's trials and crucifixion,  while capturing the pain, power and passion of the Savior's suffering on humanity's behalf.

Deeply moving and personal, The Via Crucis works equally well as an evening community event or as a two or three day retreat.  Inspired by the centuries-old practice of the Stations of the Cross, The Via Crucis invites contemporary believer's to find fresh meaning in contemplation and prayer on what it means to carry the cross and follow Christ.
